Karina Fabian

Karina's life is not nearly as fun or interesting as her books, which she believes is how it should be. As a founder, former president and now secretary of the Catholic Writers' Guild, she's pretty much led or kibitzed in everything, including the conferences. She also teaches writing and marketing at other conventions. Her writing is all over the place: Why God Matters, the devotional she wrote with her father, won the 2011 Christian Small Press Award for best Christian Living Book; while her hilarious fantasy novel, Magic, Mensa and Mayhem, won the 2010 INDIE for best fantasy. Her latest book, Greater Treasures: a DragonEye Novella, is her first foray into self-publishing, and she just finished Mind Over All, the final book in the Mind Over Trilogy. Karina has four terrific kids, two cuddly dogs and a cat. She's married to the love of her live, Rob Fabian, who co-edited ISIG II with her. Learn more about her and her books at
